Dippity Dip Dip

Via

I've got a new obsession. It's poised to become compulsion, I just know it. I mean, it already has... started.  I just want to "dip"- everything.

In it's early days, it was all about "gilding". A little gold paint here, a little silver tempura there. And then overnight, everything was "ombre", that deep, dark saturation fading to subtle washes of color. And now, we're "color blocking" and trust me, I've caught that bug too.

But there is something so fascinating, so compelling about taking an an organic object and dunking it into a tub of paint. It's one of those things that is so wrong, it's right.

I've long had this link in my archive. Put it to good use, girl! The metal shower caddy and the dishes are my favorites here. Oh the possibilities.
