I'm always in a hurry to get on to the next thing. These last few nights I've been taking some time out to smell the roses so to speak, live in the moment and realize that life is pretty swell.
Lots of hard work has gone into creating our poolside playground and from here, the view is looking mighty fine. We're enjoying weeknight happy hours outdoors these days, hanging out by the grill, a cocktail in hand and a little music in the background. It feels good to get outside after sitting behind a desk all day.
I quickly snapped these the other night with my iPhone. Didn't take time to grab my camera. They may not be the best quality, but I was too busy enjoying my cocktail.
You get the idea anyway.

ha! I love it...usually its those times when you can't leave the moment to get the camera to capture it that are the best ones...you are so enthralled in it, stepping out of it even if its for seconds just seems crazy. And you can perfectly capture the vibe with these shots. Beautiful pool and fire pit. Wonderful fruits of such hard labor. Curious...how long does it take to fill a pool?
Albertina, it took us 2 days to fill ours and nearly as long to drain it in the days before. We had no idea what we were getting into! But it's so gloriously clear after a good scrub down and fresh water!
